Last Thursday, I had the chance to watch An American Crime with Clarice and Oliver. I remembered watching the first few sequences of the film early on but it was pretty difficult because of the heavy scenes that I stopped.
I have to say that this is one of the few films that truly affected me. I woke up late at night and just started thinking about it again. I was unaware of what the film is about before watching it so I was really surprised with the developments.
How can so many people see a child's suffering and do nothing about it? It got me thinking, are there things around me that I'm already oblivious to?
