Off to Gerry's Grill

I've first come to love sisig at Gerry's Grill. This is the reason why I was very excited when I found out the Gerry's was opening up a branch at Marina Bay Sands.

Along with Clarice and Noel, we excitedly headed there last Saturday. We left the house at a little past 6 and took a cab. This didn't turn out to be such a good idea cause we got stuck in traffic. This is actually the first time in Singapore that I got stuck in a jam. While it would normally take us 40 minutes to get there, it took us more than an hour that day.

As always, the towers are a sight to behold. It's been a while since I was last here and was surprised at how many stores are now open. Royce has already set up shop.

An art gallery with very interesting pieces.

A soshal looking steak restaurant, Wolfgang Puck's Cut.

A theatre where the Lion King is set to open.

Our last stop, the very crowded food court.

It was 8pm when we got there and we were surprised that Gerry's Grill was already closed. We asked around and found out that they are already out of food. How sad.

Too bad, I was so looking forward to that sisig. Oh well. Since we were not in the mood to eat anymore, we headed to Carrefour to buy our Christmas Tree. Here's Noel who tried to buy the Christmas signage of Carrefour.

Here he is at the cashier insisting on paying for it.

With the traffic and us getting lost at Suntec City Mall, we finished our shopping at 10PM. We were hungry by this time and couldn't find any restaurant that's still open. Luckily we chanced upon Aston's. We were their last guests.

It was my first time there and I loved it. I loved how affordable their steaks are. Aston's for Gerry's is not so bad.
